Tobius
Millar is primarily a
self-taught artist.
He
obtained a Cert. IV in
Design and New Media and a Diploma
of Multimedia through
Moreton Institute in
Brisbane.
In his early years he was
completely obsessed and
inspired by puppetry and
claymation, however spacial/financial
restrictions meant that he
was confined to ink and
card, which evolved in to
digital art, and eventually
stepping back in to
traditional mediums in 2008.
In late
2010 he finally discovered
oils along with stepping in
to his truth/spirituality
and now focuses on merging
painting with shamanic
practices to create an
art-form that not
only resonates with the
viewer, but also heals and
converts dark energy to
light.
Tobius has had 3 solo
exhibitions and 9 group
exhibitions since 2010.
